Desiring Health Chiropractic is seeking a friendly and motivated Full time front and back office chiropractic assistant with a high level of professionalism, and proficient decision-making capabilities. We are hiring 1 outstanding Full time team member for our morning and afternoon shift. Each shift consists of 24-34 hours a week; Monday (9:30am to 6pm), Tuesday (9:30am to 5pm), Wednesday (9:30am to 5pm), Thursday (9:30am to 6pm), and Friday (10:30am to 2pm). Candidate must be able to work Mondays Thru Fridays.

Summary:

Responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting patients, answering phones, collecting payment from patients, insurance verification, insurance billing and posting, and assisting with chiropractic therapies.

We are looking for a team member with the following qualifications:

• Experience in a health-care setting/environment
• Experience working in a Chiropractic clinic a BIG plus
• Experience working with medical insurance is a HUGE plus
• Knowledge of Health Insurances, Workers Comp, and Personal Injury billing preferred but not required.
• Friendly, Positive, People Person, with a can do attitude.
• Customer service oriented personality and excellent phone presence
• Ability to prioritize tasks and deal gracefully with multiple tasks
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Organized, efficient, and able to deal proactively with problems

Duties & Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries about company
• Greet visitors warmly and ensure their comfort
• Regulating patient flow and registering patient visits
• Schedule appointments and follow-up appointments
• General Medical Administrative work, date entry, filing, and clerical duties
• Create and maintain patient files
• Assist with heat therapy treatments
• Support during nutrition treatments
• Post patient visits
• Insurance Verification
• Insurance Posting
• Ordering supplies and supplements
• Explain fees to patients and accept payment
• Keep patient files up to date and enter appropriate charges and process payments
• Describe products available for purchase at the clinic and process payment for the same

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
